    Sculptural reproduction of N.N. Miklouho-Maclay’s skull, made without attributes

    It represents the image of the scientist’s head without hair and face. The goal was to display the anatomical features and details of appearance.
    The features of the bust reproduction of Miklouho-Maclay: the cerebral cranium is large and prevails over the face area; the face is narrow, elongated with a large lower jaw, significantly profiled; the high nose protrudes significantly; the forehead is vertical, wide and high; big eyes.
    The scientist’s skull, which is stored in the Peter the Great Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Kunstkamera (St. Petersburg, Russia), served as a basis for the reproduction of the lifetime appearance of N.N. Miklouho-Maclay.
